Police have said they remain in custody and are "helping with enquiries".

It follows a stabbing in August, where a man in his 50s was left with serious injuries after being attacked in Crawley. Sussex Police said that the victim and suspect were known to each other. Â

Speaking at the time of the 20 August incident, a police spokesperson said: “The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered multiple serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
