Leeds United are set to say goodbye to 17 players today upon the expiry of their contracts at Elland Road.

Jamie Shackleton, Cody Drameh, Luke Ayling and Ian Poveda are just some of the names set to embark on new journeys away from Leeds this summer. Daniel Farke's side narrowly missed out on promotion back to the Premier League last season and will hope to bring in plenty of new faces in time for the new season in August.

Among those 17 players, LeedsLive understands experienced defender Liam Cooper remains the only one who continues to be in positive dialogue with the club regarding extending his stay. Cooper was away with Scotland at Euro 2024 for most of the month and it is thought talks have now resumed over a potential extension.
