A tackle from the 2023 Rugby World Cup has become one of the most viewed rugby videos.

The moment comes from the Uruguay v Namibia pool stage clash in Lyon, where scrum-half Santiago Arata executed a perfect tackle on rampaging Namibia openside flanker Tjiuee Uanivi.

Rugby is a sport that accommodates people of any shape and size, and this tackle proves this to be absolutely true.

5ft 7in Castres man Arata lined up the shot on 6ft 7in Uanivi, getting low and wrapping around the big man's quads. Uanivi, a back rower in Pro D2 for US Montauban, was sent flying in emphatic fashion.

You can watch the clip below.

The clip is one of the most-watched rugby videos on TikTok in the last six months, with over 1.1m likes and almost 18m views. It has the caption: 'Technique beats size'.

Viewers have been loving this moment.

"It helps to have steel shoulders!" said one.

"When I'm feeling tough, I watch professional rugby. After the first half, I realise I'm not that f*****g tough" said another.

Uruguay won this match 36-26 in September, with four cards handed out over the course of the game. Namibia got two yellows and a red card, whilst Uruguay picked up one yellow themselves.

Neither side would qualify for the knock-outs in Pool A, with France and New Zealand finishing in the top two places.
