A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been charged after a huge cannabis farm was discovered in Warrington town centre.

Edison Aleznli was arrested last Saturday following a warrant at an address on Winwick Street in which cannabis plants were seized.

Court documents state that there were 321 plants.

Alezni, of no fixed abode, but of Warrington, has since been charged with production of a class B drug, cannabis, and using electricity without authority.

He appeared before Chester Magistrates’ Court on Monday where he was remanded in custody.

He will next appear before Liverpool Crown Court on July 22.
