Yahoo News 3 pubs in the BCP area named as finalists for Great British Pub Awards 2024
THREE pubs in the BCP area have been named as finalists for categories in the Great British Pub Awards 2024.
Chaplin’s & The Cellar Bar in Bournemouth, Bermuda Triangle Pub in Poole and The Barking Cat Alehouse were nominated.
The Great British Pub Awards said: "After receiving an incredible number of entries for this year's Great British Pub Awards, we've whittled it down to the very best the nation has to offer."

What were the BCP pubs nominated for?
Chaplin’s & The Cellar Bar was nominated in the Best Pub for Entertainment category alongside establishments such as The Phoenix Arts Club in London and Dunes Complex in Mablethorpe.
Meanwhile, Bermuda Triangle Pub and The Barking Cat Alehouse were both nominated in the Best Pub for Beer category.
In terms of how they've been received by punters, Chaplin's & The Cellar Bar has earned a 4.6/5 score on Google Reviews from 2,031 ratings.

Meanwhile, Bermuda Triangle Pub has a score of 4.5/5 from 621 ratings on Google Reviews.
One person wrote: "A proper pub with good atmosphere. Always busy and that is for good reason.
"With the amount of trendy bars and coffee shops in Ashley Cross a little wander up Parr street you will find true genuine friendly locals. Good vibes are a definite here."
Alongside that, The Barking Cat Alehouse has earned a score of 4.8/5 on Google Reviews from 435 ratings.
