5 highlights from day 4 of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal tour
1. How the Duchess is tackling jetlag
By the end of the royal tour, the Duke and Duchess will have carried out 76 engagements in 16 days.
That’s no easy feat when you’re pregnant and trying to adjust to the time difference, but Meghan revealed how she’s been getting over jetlag to a local surfing group on Bondi Beach.
2. Meghan supports Aussie and British fashion
On the fourth day of the royal tour, the Duchess showed support for Australian fashion and home-grown talent.
On Bondi Beach, Meghan bared her shoulders in a striped dress by Melbourne-raised designer Martin Grant, and then changed into a two-tone frock by London Fashion Week label Roksanda to visit a school.
3. Meghan talks about her upbringing
The Duchess revealed a little more about her humble beginnings when she was growing up to a group of students at Macarthur Girls High School in Sydney.
Meghan told them about some of her first jobs before she found fame as an actress, as the students spoke about their own community groups.
4. Harry climbs Sydney Harbour Bridge
The Duke of Sussex showed no nerves as he scaled the iconic structure with Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
They were joined by Invictus Games competitors as they raised the flag to kick off the event.
5. Meghan’s feminist message for schoolgirl
Earlier in the week, Harry and Meghan met locals outside the Sydney Opera House but they’ve certainly made an impact on some of their youngest fans.
Sethunya Gibbons, 9, told Yahoo’s Australian outlet about her sweet encounter with the couple and why her t-shirt caught Meghan’s eye.
