The £6.99 bottle of wine from Waitrose that experts 'highly recommends'
Wine pairs well with almost every meal, but it can be intimidating to understand what all the lingo means.
Wine aficionado Luke Flunder has become a TikTok sensation, racking up over 200,000 followers with his unique blend of unconventional wine-tasting and candid reviews. In one of his latest viral videos, the famed sipper introduced a £6.99 Argentinian white from Waitrose that really tickled his fancy
On a mission to uncover the finest wines for less than a tenner, the Santa Rose Organic Torrontes at £6.99 appears to have made quite the impression. The ex-Majestic Wines manager, who uses social media to dish out his wine-drinking wisdom, points drinkers towards top-notch tipples that won't break the bank such as this one.
Discussing Argentina's hallmark white grape, Luke is eager to take a sip saying "I'm excited to try this. The Torrontes grape is a little bit different to other white wines as it should smell sweet but taste dry."

Gearing up for a taste test, the wine guru declares, "I'm back in the hot seat, back in Argentina, but this time not with a Malbec" he continues "What you get with Torrontes is floral flavours and also a bit of peach and apricot. I have high hopes for this."
Following a practised swirl of his glass and an eager sip, the celebrity quaffer notes the characteristics of the wine, saying "It reminds me of a lemon freeze pop but not in a bad way, It's got that florality coming through (if that's a word) and it's got a little bit of spice lingering on the finish."
Looking rather chuffed, Luke wraps up his critique with a straightforward endorsement: "It's a cracking white for £6.99 and I highly recommend it."
