Yahoo News 8 huge Emmerdale spoilers for next week
Next week, Emmerdale fans should have their tissues at the ready as Frank's funeral leads to emotional outbursts, while later in the week, Robert has a heartbreaking confession for Aaron.
Here's a full collection of eight storylines which will be hitting our screens.
1. Frank's funeral
Emotions are running high as Frank's funeral approaches. Amy and Kerry mask their guilt as they attend, but it's Frank's loved ones who struggle the most.
Viewers have seen Frank's daughters Tracy and Vanessa patch up their relationship, but the situation is still troubled between them as they deal with the accusations that Frank was responsible for the fire.
In the lead-up to the funeral, Vanessa tries to gather her strength, but before the service begins, she is unable to stand by Tracy and support her claims that Frank is innocent, as she's still uncertain. Tracy wants the whole village to know her dad was innocent – but will anyone believe her?
Later, at the funeral, Tracy pulls Megan aside to tell her about the ring she believes Frank was retrieving from the factory.
2. Megan makes a big decision
Conflicted Megan is torn about attending Frank's funeral, uneasy that he might have been responsible for the fire. Megan puts on a brave face, but her world is shattered when Tracy reveals the ring box and they realise Frank was about to propose.
Still processing what Tracy told her, heartbroken Megan puts on the ring and breaks down in guilty tears. When the funeral begins and Megan steps forward, she delivers some tough words to the congregation, adamant about Frank's innocence.
The events of the last few weeks prompt Megan to make a life-changing decision as she considers leaving the village for a fresh start. With actress Gaynor Faye leaving Emmerdale, could this be the start of Megan's exit?
3. Liv has a seizure
Life has been very tense in Liv's household lately, with Aaron and Robert preoccupied by looking after Vic in the aftermath of her rape and dealing with Robert's arrest. Next week, things take a shocking turn as Liv suddenly collapses in the café and has a seizure.
Stunned, Paddy, Marlon and Cain are on hand, but Robert panics, rooted to the spot. With Liv in hospital later on, Robert is in turmoil about his own future and prepares to tell Aaron everything.
It's unknown yet what causes Liv's seizure – could this health scare be another crisis Aaron has to cope with alongside Robert's looming sentence?
4. Robert's heartbreaking admission to Aaron
A terrified Robert has been on edge for weeks, knowing he could be facing life in prison. Devastated at the thought of how Aaron might cope, Robert has kept it a secret and lied to his husband that he has only been charged with GBH and expects a lesser sentence.
Next week, Cain overhears Robert's conversation with his solicitor and is unimpressed that Robert has been keeping such a huge secret from his family. Cain tells him he better reveal all to Aaron, because there's no way Cain will lie to Aaron's face.
After Liv's seizure, Robert steels himself in the hospital and admits the truth about his charge to Aaron. Heartbroken and angry, Aaron shouts at him, horrified that he could go to prison for life.
As reality dawns on them both, will Robert be able to share the painful news with Liv and Vic? Knowing they could lose Robert for good, how will they react?
5. Doug almost gets caught
The usually strait-laced Doug has recently found himself enjoying a secret spliff in the pirate ship after Liv found Gerry Roberts's stash when gardening. First, Doug tried pot to alleviate his back pain, but lately he's been getting high whenever the opportunity arises!
Next week, Doug lights up outside the village hall, nervous to be smoking weed out in the open. And he has every right to be nervous when other villagers start to smell it.
Doug needn't worry though, because when Charity notices the smell, she falsely accuses Dawn of being the cause. Looks like Doug's got away with it, for now.
6. Amy's confession
Since Frank died during the Sharma factory fire, Amy has been burdened with guilt. Although she has mum Kerry to share the secret with, she's been struggling to cope knowing they were responsible. As next week sees Frank laid to rest, it's an uneasy day, especially when Tracy is adamant about her dad's innocence.
We've already seen Amy give up trying to get residency for Kyle, but next week it all gets too much. With Amy increasingly isolated, the guilt becomes unbearable and she leans on boyfriend Nate. Risking everything, Amy makes a shocking confession to him.
7. Jai's fury
Jai's got even more to worry about next week when he discovers something about the future of the family business. Seething, Jai learns that Nicola has sold her share of the factory to newcomer Al, who also happens to be Kim's new business partner. Could Jai's say in the company be in jeopardy?
It looks like fans were right when they speculated Al's shady phone calls and a recent trip to Dubai hinted he would be working alongside Kim. We know she has big plans for the factory site and with Al on board, what will this mean for the Sharmas?
8. Nate and Moira get jealous
With Nate and Moira's illicit feelings bubbling under the surface, tension is high. After their secret passion in the barn, next week sees Moira and Nate frustrated by their respective relationships.
With both Cain and Amy in the picture, jealousy is rife and this makes the cheating pair even more desperate for each other. Will the green-eyed monster lead them back into each other's arms? Or will they manage to resist temptation?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with extra episodes at 8pm on Thursdays.
