9 spoilers for Holby City next week

It's Halloween on Holby City next week and Cameron is haunted by an old ghost, Evan makes a spooky reappearance, while Jac gets two big bombshells.

Here is a roundup of everything you can look forward to:

1. Cameron is haunted by his own ghosts

It’s Halloween in Holby City and it's a traumatic one for Cameron, who is struggling to cope with everything that's happened recently.

After arriving back at work with his mother Bernie's ashes, Cameron finds himself seeking solace in a patient – who shares his experience of losing a parent.

However, when Cameron later makes a fatal oversight with the Grim Reaper, it soon becomes clear that he is being haunted by his own ghosts…

2. Evan is back...sort of

If you thought you'd seen the last of ghostly returns following last night's episode, think again – as evil Evan is back next week. It is Halloween, after all.

Evan (Jack Ryder) succumbed to his injuries and died in hospital earlier this month, with a vengeful Cameron deliberately failing to intervene until it was too late.

But as Cameron continues to be haunted by his uncharacteristic actions, Evan is in his ear making sure he never forgets...

3. Jac gets two big bombshells…

Despite being determined to put a tricky few weeks behind her, Jac is rattled when Stacey arrives at the hospital and drops the bombshell that she and Jonny are moving to Edinburgh.

Fearing that her future with daughter Emma will be threatened as a result, Jac starts to crack under pressure and later comes to blows with Stacey over the whole situation.

Losing her cool, Jac menacingly threatens Stacey – prompting her to drop an even bigger bombshell that turns Jac's world upside down.

4. …And crosses the line with Fletch

Stressed following Stacey's first bout of big news, Jac rebuffs support from her friend Fletch, when he implores her to try and get along with her daughter's step-mum.

Insisting that Fletch doesn't understand, Jac angrily demands he mind his own business, but crosses the line when she brings his late ex-wife into the equation.

5. Kian's in too deep

Kian's career is on the line in next week's episode, when both Nicky and Jac make a discovery about his relationship with Bea.

When Bea is readmitted into hospital after experiencing a deterioration of symptoms, she reiterates her earlier wishes about not having the valve replacement she needs.

Putting his feelings for Bea before his own medical judgement, Kian agrees to this – and overrides Jac's more senior advice to have the surgery. But as Kian continues to grow closer to Bea, is he letting his feelings get in the way of his duties as a doctor?

6. Kian is caught out

Although Jac is initially willing to accept Bea's regarding not having the more invasive surgery, she is furious when she suspects she and Kian have rekindled their romance.

Angrily pulling Kian in for a meeting, Jac firmly insists he steps down as clinical lead – stating that his medical decision-making is being affected by his feelings for Bea.

Although Kian insists this is not the case, and denies having an inappropriate relationship with Bea, it's clear he is lying his colleagues and himself. Will Kian be able to keep his job? Or has he blown it?

7. Jac isn't coping

Viewers will spot a notable change in Jac's behaviour next week, as she becomes increasingly distressed following Stacey's arrival.

Not only do Stacey's announcements leave her rattled, but Jac seems to be have having difficulty processing everything that's happening in her life and it becomes increasingly apparent that all is not as it seems with her.

Holby have already confirmed a big mental health story for Jac, which will be playing out for the rest of the year. But will anyone spot her struggles and support her?

8. Lofty and Dom comes to blows over the baby

Following Lofty's big baby discovery, he's still trying to get his head around impending fatherhood next week, but soon faces a new obstacle in the form of his husband Dom.

Keen to support Lofty, Dom gets the wrong end of the stick when Helen arrives at the hospital for her antenatal class and later oversteps the mark when he uninvitedly joins them for it.

Still unsure over the part he wants to play in the child's life, Lofty starts to lose his patience with Dom and later implores him to know his place. How will Dom react to this?

9. Ric's on the mend – or is he?

Ric's still recovering after his life-saving operation, but his colleagues are about to learn just how much he's been impacted by what's happened.

With Ric starting to get stronger, he prepares to move up to another ward on the hospital, but later shocks Dom with his brutally honest advice on parenthood. Is Ric a changed man after his near-death experience?
