Yahoo News Is That '90s Show going to get a season 3?
Summer is finally here, so naturally we're heading back to Point Place to spend it with Leia and her friends in her grandparents' basement in the new season of That '90s Show, but is the show coming back for a third season?
A sequel to the original sitcom That '70s Show, That '90s Show debuted last year on Netflix and followed the adventures of Leia, the daughter of Donna and Eric. And now the second season (which has been split in two) has just dropped on Netflix, picking up where it left off with Leia in a somewhat awkward love triangle.
However, is this the last we'll see of Leia and the gang? Or will the show return again? Here's what we know about a potential season three of That '90s Show.
Has That '90s Show season 3 been confirmed?
As of yet there's been no official word we'll be getting a third season of That '90s Show.
However, this is not suggest it's all doom and gloom. Season two has been split into two parts, so we at least know we've got another eight more episodes to enjoy from 24th October.
And season two was only renewed a few weeks after the release of season one, so there's still plenty of possibility Netflix will renew the series for a third season. However, we might not find this out until part two has aired later this year.
The original That '70s Show ran for eight seasons so there's plenty of scope for That '90s Show to have a similar run.
Who could appear on That '90s Show season 3?
Though it's yet to be confirmed if we'll get a third season, we can't really imagine the show without the following cast members reprising their roles:

Debra Jo Rupp as Kitty Forman
Kurtwood Smith as Red Forman
Ashley Aufderheide as Gwen Runck
Mace Coronel as Jay Kelso
Reyn Doi as Ozzie
Sam Morelos as Nikki
Maxwell Acee Donovan as Nate Runck
We'd also expect to see guest appearances from Laura Prepon as Donna and various other celebrity cameo appearances as seen throughout seasons one and two.
What would happen in That '90s Show season 3?
Right now as the show hasn't been confirmed for a third season and we haven't seen the end of part two of season two, it's hard to predict what could happen next.
The first part of season two has ended with Leia's house party seeing a car crash into the wall of the house. Will it put a stop to Kitty and Red's trip to Paris? And what is going to happen with Leia and Jay's relationship?
All these questions will hopefully be answered in the second half of season two, and depending on what happens there we'll then have a better idea of what could happen in a third season.
