Adam Peaty's mother calls his 'Strictly Come Dancing' exit a 'total fix'
Adam Peaty's mother has branded Strictly Come Dancing a "total fix" and said she does not believe the public vote.
The 26-year-old Olympic swimmer and his professional partner Katya Jones became the sixth couple to be voted off the BBC dance contest on Sunday night after being placed at the bottom of the leaderboard by the judges, with a score of 27/40.
Peaty's mother Caroline tweeted: "Proud @adam_peaty and @Mrs_katjones such an amazing partnership and @Mrs_katjones you have taught my baby boy how to dance, thank you x

But she added: "Total fix and I’m not buying the public vote."
Peaty and Jones performed their Jive again in the dance-off against Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin, who had been third from the bottom with 31/40.
The dance-off is decided by a combination of judges' scores and public votes, with the two contestants with the lowest points performing once again to keep their place in the competition.

The judges all chose to save 19-year-old Ramsay, except for head judge Shirley Ballas. Ballas has the casting vote in the event of a tie, but otherwise the celebrity sent home is decided by the majority judges' vote.
Peaty addressed their score from the judges on Strictly: It Takes Two, saying: "The judges have a role and I think they did that very fairly.
"I’ve got nothing against that and as a competitor, you’ve got to respect that and I have respect for that. But it is what it is, isn’t it?”
Peaty's mum's claims of a fix come as some fans claim to be able to tell which celebrities are getting the most votes from a clue on the official Strictly YouTube channel.
EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis and her professional partner Giovanni Pernice have by far and away the most views for their dances on the BBC Strictly Come Dancing channel, with as many as 799k for their perfect score Halloween Tango.
TV presenter AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington and former Great British Bake Off champion John Whaite and his male dance partner Johannes Radebe have the second and third most views for their dance videos in recent weeks.
However, Tilly Ramsay has some consistently high viewing figures of the official YouTube videos of her dances, and Peaty and Jones's Tango - which some speculated featured an 'almost kiss' - has been viewed 391k times.
Last week judge Motsi Mabuse dismissed claims the contest is fixed after her comments on the latest elimination were misinterpreted.
Last week Loose Women star Judi Love and Graziano Di Prima sent home after competing in the dance-off against Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty and Katya Jones.
Asked who she would be sending home on Sunday night's show Mabuse said: “I have to say that dance off was really great, it was great to watch both couples dancing on the dancefloor.
“The decision was made for me and so I have to say that the couple that I will be saving is Adam and Katya.”

But after some viewers speculated she had implied it was not her decision to make the 40-year-old dance school owner tweeted that she had regretted phrasing her choice that way.
Mabuse tweeted: "What was So obvious to me , because the mistakes where so clear !! In times of some crazy conspiracy theories …….. lol."
