Adele unrecognisable in rare birthday photo thanking essential workers amid coronavirus crisis
Adele has shared a rare picture of herself as she celebrated her 32nd birthday amid the coronavirus lockdown
The Skyfall singer – who has homes in both the UK and the US – thanked first responders and essential workers as she showed off her incredible figure in a tiny black mini-dress.
Adele said: “Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time.
“I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels 2020 okay bye thanks.”
The Hello singer – who has lost a noticeable amount of weight over the last year – is seen standing in front of a white timber-clad house with white roses growing up the walls. She stands smiling behind a large gold circle decorated with white flowers.
Adele is wearing a black pointed heels and a high-necked, black mini-dress with billowing full-length sleeves.

It is her first Instagram post since she shared a snap of herself enjoying a Christmas party in December last year.
In January Adele's former personal trainer Camila Goodis appeared on ITV’s Lorraine where she credited the singer’s weight-loss to a plant-based diet and Pilates.
The Someone Like You singer – who debuted her new slimmer figure in October 2019 when she attended Drake’s birthday party in Hollywood – lives with her seven-year-old son Angelo, who she shares with husband Simon Konecki. The couple announced their split in April 2019 after eight years together.
The very private star has kept a low public profile since skyrocketing to success in 2008 with her debut album 19. She became even more of a recluse after having her son in 2012. She is believed to have homes in London and West Sussex in the UK and in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, in the US.

The star has previously spoken about how she lost weight to get fit for her tour during an interview with Vogue in 2016.
“I was trying to get some stamina for my tour, so I lost a bit of weight. Now I fit into normal, off-the-shelf clothes – which is a really big problem for me!” she said.
