Adidas looks set to launch a new running trainer on 13 February that will give those who wear it more boost in their stride.

Although details are incredibly thin at the moment, the company has released a teaser video of three metal balls hitting three different types of material; Concrete, EVA, and the new material called Boost.

In the video, the ball that hits the Boost material bounces higher and for longer. The video, posted on YouTube, ends with the words, "This will change running forever".

A link at the end of the video encourages viewers to visit Adidas.com/boost to find out more, but at the moment that page redirects users to the Adidas running site where it shows the video again.

Plucking further information from here suggests that the company is pitching it as "ENDLESS ENERGY", suggesting to us that a trainer with more bounce could help you go further for less effort.

Adidas has also released a picture of a shoe (seen above) that looks like it is on fire taking off.
