Hidden away in a London market is a uniquely little Italian restaurant. It is so minute that it only has one table.

The venue acknowledges its limitations as regards capacity for customers in Netil Market, Hackney. On its website, Sugo82 says: "We recommend booking if you want to come sit, as with only one table it is usually booked."

It adds that eating in its private room is a 'trattoria experience'. The restaurant says that it it works with regenerative farmers 'as much as possible', serving 'natural, healthy and delicious' ingredients.

The website also reads: "We balance our meat consumption, seeking to follow the land and using only naturally raised or when we can, wild meat. We aim to import as little as possible, aiming to work with local producers and following the British seasons."

Secret London described the venue on TikTok: "Tucked hidden away in Netil Market you’ll find the truly delightful Sugo82. Bringing a slice of Italy to the Big Smoke, you and your friends can dine ON TOP of the kitchen overlooking the rest of the market."

The restaurant has also been catering private events since 2017. At weddings, parties and corporate events, the Sugo family says it delivers an 'authentic Italian experience'.

From £10 per head, clients can choose their menu with the restaurant and design a 'delicious experience' for guests.
