Adorable Seal Beached at Coney Island Guided Back to Water

An employee for New York Mayor Eric Adams’s climate office encountered a beached seal at Coney Island on Wednesday, March 27, calling in authorities to help him guide the mammal back to the water.

Elijah Hutchinson, a member of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice, called state Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) “experts” after he found the seal beached on Coney Island on Wednesday.
