Air Ambulance called after man dies in Coventry

A man has died after a medical emergency that saw Air Ambulance called out in Coventry. It happened at an address in Foleshill on Friday (June 21).

Paramedics and the Hazardous Area Response Team were called to a medical emergency at an address on Broad Street at around 4.50pm. A Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance also attended and landed in Red House Park.

Crews discovered a man at the address on Broad Street. He could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to a medical emergency at a private address on Broad Street in Coventry at around 4.50pm on Friday (June 21).

“Three ambulances, the Hazardous Area Response Team, and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance were sent to the scene in Foleshill. Crews found a man, and sadly, despite everyones best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.”
