Aldi store to reopen with new range of school uniforms

A supermarket in a coastal town is reopening with a new clothes line following a major refurbishment.

The Aldi store on Millennium Way in Lowestoft will re-open to customers on Thursday, July 4, after the works were set to make for a "better shopping experience" and a "more sustainable store".

The facelift will see sections of the store updated with a fresh redesign and a new range of school uniform essentials available during the reopening week.

The store will reopen after six days of works, following its closure on Saturday, June 29.

Changes to the store include a revamp to the Health and Beauty and Bakery sections, increased chiller space with new fridge doors and an additional room for Specialbuys.

Store Manager Lou Allen said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we are really looking forward to welcoming back some familiar faces as well as new customers and supplying our local community with the everyday amazing products we have available.”

One of Britain’s fastest-growing supermarkets with more than 1,010 stores and 45,000 colleagues and nationally updates have been planned to make Aldi  supermarkets across the UK "fairer, greener and healthier" for customers.
