Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria expecting baby - five months after sharing miscarriage news

Actor Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria are expecting a baby, five months after suffering a miscarriage.

Hilaria, 35, revealed the couple are expecting their fifth child by sharing a video of the baby's heartbeat on social media.

The yoga teacher wrote: "It is still very early... but we have learned that there is a little person inside of me.

"The sound of this strong heart makes me so happy - especially because of the loss we experienced in the spring."

Hilaria said she wanted to share the news because she and Alec are "excited and don't want to hide the pregnancy".

"These first few months are tough with exhaustion and nausea... and I don't want to have to pretend that I feel ok," she wrote.

In April, Hilaria made headlines when she shared the family's pain over her miscarriage.

She posted a photo of the family saying: "There was no heartbeat today at my scan... so it's over... but I have some pretty strong and amazing heartbeats right here.

"I am surround by such love and I feel so fortunate."

After announcing her current pregnancy, Hilaria requested that paparazzi do not follow her, saying: "I want to remain peaceful during this very early time in my pregnancy and getting chased around by cameras is not in the doctor's orders".

Posting a picture of her baby bump, she added: "When you've had so many babies, 6 minutes pregnant = looking like 6 months pregnant."

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin married in 2012 and have three sons and a daughter together.
