Watch: Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria have welcomed a surprise sixth child
The 62-year-old actor and his 37-year-old yoga instructor wife revealed the surprise addition of another new baby into their family - just six months after Hilaria gave birth to son Eduardo.
In a cryptic post on her Instagram account Hilaria shared a picture of herself and her five children cuddled up on the sofa with a newborn baby.
The picture is simply captioned: "7" with a heart emoji and giving photo credits to 30 Rock star Baldwin.
The couple have not issued any further statement on the new arrival and so it is not known if the baby - dressed in pale pink - has been adopted or born via a surrogate.
Hilaria was delighted to announce she was pregnant again last year after publicly sharing her pain at suffering two miscarriages. Son Eduardo was born in September 2020.
The couple are also parents to daughter Carmen, seven, and sons Rafael Thomas five, Leonardo, four, and Romeo, two.
In 2019 Hilaria suffered two miscarriages in the early stages of pregnancy and chose to share her heartbreak on social media in a bid to remove the stigma around miscarriage.
In November that year, she revealed she had lost a baby to miscarriage four months into her pregnancy.
She wrote on Instagram: “We are very sad to share that today we learned that our baby passed away at 4 months.
“We also want you to know that even though we are not ok right now, we will be.
“We are so lucky with our 4 healthy babies – and we will never lose sight of this.”
The sad post was shared alongside a video of Hilaria lying in bed being cuddled and comforted by her six-year-old daughter, Carmen, after sharing the news with her.
In April 2019 she shared the sad news of her first miscarriage with her 733,000 followers on Instagram.
The couple began dating in 2011 and they married in 2012.
Last year Hilaria became the centre of a heritage controversy where she was accused of faking a Spanish accent.
The yoga instructor is often said to have been born in Majorca, but after questions were raised over her fluctuating accent, she posted an Instagram video to say that she was born in Boston and sometimes called Hillary.
