Alesha Dixon wants a kids’ version of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.

The 44-year-old star sits on the judging panel of the long-running ITV1 series - which has no age limit and made stars out of such asthen-child singer Connie Talbot, ventriloquist Jamie Leahey and then-teenage dancer George Sampson - with Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Bruno Tonioli and thinks that because the children always “show how the adults how it's done", it could be an “amazing experience” for the young contestant.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I would love a ‘Kids Got Talent’ because the kids rule, man.

“They always come out and show the adults how it's done.

“It could be a very celebratory show where all the children have an amazing experience. And it wouldn’t matter who won, I think it would be a gorgeous show.”

The former 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge - who is mother to daughters Azura, nine, and Anaya, three, with her husband Azuka Ononye - gushed about recent auditones the Chickenshed Community Choir “couldn’t be more” to her taste in explanation as to why she sent them straight through to the semi-finals with the Golden Buzzer.

She said: “This act couldn’t be more up my street if it tried to be.”

On the show - which airs on Saturday nights at 8.30 pm - Alesha told the group after slamming down on the prestigious button: "I love every single thing you stand for. Inclusivity is so important. Everyone is represented, and you do that in abundance. And you’re giving young people opportunities and platforms and I don’t know what else is more important than that."

Simon labelled their audition “really” worthy of the moment after it wowed the judges and the audience at London’s The Palladium.

The 63-year-old music mogul said: "I've known about you for a while and what you do is actually incredible. This performance sums up everything you do. This really really really is a Golden Buzzer moment."
