This alternative Lost World trailer looks pretty great

Every seasoned Jurassic Park fan will know that life, uh, finds a way, but sometimes it really shouldn't. Sorry, Jeff Goldblum.

Case in point? The Lost World.

Luckily, one talented fan has righted the wrongs of the underwhelming Jurassic Park sequel by creating a trailer for the movie we could've had.

And it even features Bruce Willis:

Thanks to some very clever editing (hello, Tears of the Sun), haunting music and the ever-wonderful Samuel L Jackson, this fan has created a version of The Lost World we would definitely pay to see.

But before a rebooted Lost World comes along – and hey, it just might happen – fans of the Jurassic Park franchise have got the follow-up to Jurassic World to look forward to.

Filming wrapped on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, as it's now called, earlier this year, and its predecessor's director Colin Trevorrow has already teased a brand new dinosaur.

After sharing a pic of Fallen Kingdom's JA Bayona staring into the mouth of a mystery creature, fans began to speculate that weaponised, genetically-modified dinos are finally coming.

You can find just what the mysterious IndoRaptor is when Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom roars into cinemas on June 7, 2018 in the UK, and June 22, 2018 in the US.
