Amanda Holden has continued her feud with Phillip Schofield by mocking his height.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge and the This Morning presenter are reported to have been at logger heads since October 2018, as Holden allegedly blames Schofield for getting her replaced on the ITV daytime show.
Holden, who is 5ft 4in, told Best magazine: “People think I'm really tall, as I am always in a heel.
"I tower over Ant, Dec, and Simon [Cowell] - but to be fair, that's not hard.”
"Phillip Schofield is tiny, too.
"Everyone goes to me, 'Oh, aren't you small in real life?' as he [Schofield] looks like a giraffe on telly!
"But he is tiny."
Holden’s beef with Schofield, 57, is said to stem from the fact she was not chosen to stand in for Holly Willoughby on This Morning, while she was off presenting I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! with Declan Donnelly in Australia. The guest presenting gig ended up going to 29-year-old Rochelle Humes.
“Amanda was so excited when she learnt she had secured the role,” a source told The Sun at the time. "She is ITV’s golden girl and has always been a firm favourite.
“She’s an experienced co-host and has filled in on the sofa on many occasions, including alongside Phil. So she was shocked when she was taken out to lunch by ITV executives who told her that unfortunately they couldn’t follow through with the offer.
They went on to detail that during the lunch, the bosses “let slip that the decision had been heavily influenced by Phil and that he had thrown a spanner in the works.”
Earlier this month Holden, 48, publicly reignited the feud by comparing Schofield to a household pest on live radio.
Taking part in a quick-fire quiz on her new Heart FM breakfast show with Jamie Theakston - Holden when she was asked what she wouldn’t want to find inside her home.
"Spiders, flies and Phillip Schofield,” she joked, as she scrunched up her nose in mock disgust.
