Amanda Holden hits back at complaints over low-cut dress on 'BGT'
Amanda Holden has laughed off hundreds of viewer complaints over the low-cut dress she wore on Britain’s Got Talent at the weekend.
Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom received 235 complaints about the navy gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high split that the 49-year-old judge wore during the latest semi-final round of the ITV talent show on Saturday night.
Holden scoffed on her Instagram stories: “Mmmm really?! Who has nipples this close to their cleavage?!
“FYI. A boned corset dented the girls all night.”
She added two fried egg emojis.
The complaints about Holden’s revealing dress on the family entertainment show follows over 24,000 complaints made to Ofcom over Diversity’s dance inspired by the Black Lives Matter.

Judge Ashley Banjo – who is standing in for Simon Cowell after he recently broke his back – led the BGT-winning dance troupe in the performance on the ITV talent show on 5 September.
The dance has led to thousands of complaints being made to the broadcasting watchdog and torrents of racial insults hurled at the groups members on social media.
Diversity’s dance performance was inspired by the death of George Floyd and included a moment when lead dancer Ashley Banjo lay beneath a figure in police uniform who placed his knee on Banjo’s neck.
A week later fellow judge Alesha Dixon wore a gold necklace on the show featuring the letters B, L and M to stand for Black Lives Matter.
This sparked over 1,675 complaints to Ofcom.
ITV has issued a statement in support of Diversity, saying: “Britain's Got Talent has always been an inclusive show, which showcases diversity and supports strong storytelling in all forms and ITV stands behind the decision to broadcast Diversity's performance on BGT.
"Ashley [Banjo] and the group are a great example of the talent, creativity and diversity of modern Britain and their performance was an authentic, heartfelt response to many of the issues and events which have affected society in 2020."
George Floyd aged 46 after a white Minneapolis police officer was seen pinning him to the ground by kneeling on his neck as he pleaded for air.
Officer Derek Chauvin was arrested and has been charged with manslaughter and third-degree murder.
Following Floyd’s death, anti-racism protests were held around the world.
Diversity found fame after winning the third series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009. Other members include Ashley’s brother Jordan and Perri Kiely.
