Amanda Holden has revealed that she's bought Simon Cowell some stabilisers after he had a second biking accident.

The TV star broke his back while testing out his new £10,000 e-bike in 2020, and this week he was photographed with his left arm in a cast after another mishap.

Speaking on her Heart radio show, Cowell’s fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge said she had splashed out on some stabilisers to help him stay safe on his bike in the future.

Talking to fellow presenter Ashley Roberts, Holden said: “I did order, I've ordered him some stabilisers.

“I'm seeing him on Sunday, I'm going to give them to him.”

“I'll video it!" joked the star.

Holden also said she might try and get Cowell to take a cycling proficiency course.

According to reports, Cowell’s latest accident happened as he was riding his bike near his home in west London.

A source told The Sun that the TV and music mogul was turning a sharp corner in wet conditions when the bike “suddenly went from under him” and he flew over the handlebars.

He was helped by onlookers before being taken to hospital.

Cowell, 62, told ITV News that he “doesn’t remember much” about his latest crash.

And he revealed that he was nervous about facing his seven-year-old son Eric, who gave him a "telling off” for not wearing a helmet.

“So, it was kind of like when I was a child, I was afraid of going home when I'd done something wrong,” he said.

“It was literally that and I got the biggest telling off - 'Daddy you didn't wear a helmet', blah, blah, blah. So yeah, lesson learnt.”
