Amanda Seyfried models daughter's handmade dress as she skips Emmy Awards

Amanda Seyfried modelled her daughter's handmade dress as she skipped the Emmy Awards on Monday night.

The Mamma Mia! actress posted a black-and-white snap on her Instagram Stories showing her rocking her six-year-old daughter Nina's creation, a white minidress featuring colourful patches and a variety of ribbons.

"Celebrating the Emmy's (sic) with a handmade creation by a six year old," the Mean Girls star captioned the image.

Amanda, 38, shares Nina and her three-year-old son Thomas with her actor husband Thomas Sadoski.

While she skipped the Emmys in Los Angeles on Monday, Amanda rocked the red carpet at the previous ceremony in 2022.

She wore a pink sequinned Armani Privé gown to collect the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her portrayal of Elizabeth Holmes in The Dropout.

The actress starred opposite Tom Holland in the Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room last year but it was not nominated for an Emmy as it fell outside of the eligibility period.

Amanda most recently appeared on the red carpet at the Golden Globes earlier this month. She wore a black velvet Armani Privé gown with a large purple bow.

"Armani Privé - they know me like no one else," she told E! News in 2022 about the fashion brand.
