Amazon shoppers praise 'powerful' £23 fan with 17,000 five-star ratings

Amazon’s highly-anticipated summer Prime Day sale is just around the corner. Prime members will get exclusive access to thousands of deals across a wide range of products, from beauty to homeware, electronics to fashion for two days.

This year's summer sale will take place on Tuesday, 16 and Wednesday, 17 July, with it kicking off at midnight on 16 July and finish at 11.59pm on 17 July.

Ahead of the popular sale, Amazon shoppers praised one of the site's desktop fans that is being sold for just £19. As the weather starts to warm up, manager shoppers have rushed to buy the cooling gadget and it has been a hit with reviews stating that it is one of the ‘best’ summer gadget and 'much better' than even strong tower fans.

The Honeywell TurboForce Power Fan is small but mighty. It features three powerful speed settings and a 90 degree oscillating head for ultimate comfort and the breeze can be felt from up to seven metres away.

One shopper said: "Really pleased with this Honeywell fan. I bought it to replace another Honeywell I had for 20 years, it's still working perfectly but I just wanted different model. It's brilliant, easy to use, next to silent and gives a real cool breeze. Perfect in every way and and even better than description. Perfect."

A second wrote: "I bought this to replace my tower fans. It's so much more effective at cooling than the towers. Highly recommended, I went back and ordered a second one." A third penned: "I've had this fan for three years now, it’s very small but very powerful. Leaves the room ice cold, I’ve told all my friends to invest in it. Way better then any other fan we’ve had at home."

However, another was less than impressed with the Honeywell TurboForce Power Fan, giving it a three-star review. They wrote: "Second summer using this fan now and although I am happy with the power and I can just about put up with the noise, my biggest gripe is that it accumulates a lot of dust and is very very difficult to clean. air dusters don't really cut it, you need to get on the blades and all the inside with a microfibre cloth. the design makes that impossible. its already hay fever season so I don't want to sleep in a room where the fan is circulating dust about too"

But another loved their latest Amazon purchase, adding: "I've installed this little fan in my shed to keep me cool whilst pedalling away on my exercise bike on days when the sunshine streams in through the window and heats the place up like an oven. And what can I say? It's small, light, practically noiseless, well made and beautifully designed - and it works like a treat even on the lowest setting. Great value for money, and I'm very happy to recommend it to anyone."
