If you just can't get enough of the Marvel franchise, then AMC theatres in New York and Orlando have just the event for you.

Yes, two cinemas in the US are gearing up to screen an epic marathon of no less than 12 Marvel movies ahead of the release of Avengers: Infinity War.

That's not quite all the films in the Marvel universe – of which there are 18 – but it's a good two thirds of the canon so far, giving fans the chance to lead into the upcoming Avengers follow-up with all the best bits from the universe so far fresh in your mind.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 12 films being shown are:

Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel's The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Black Panther, and, finally Avengers: Infinity War.

Of course, this means there are a few films that haven't made the line-up, so fans won't get to see the favourite Captain America: Winter Soldier, or some of the other solo sequels, like Iron Man 2, Thor: The Dark World or Iron Man 3.

Most upsetting though is the fact that the brilliant Thor: Ragnarok isn't on the bill. Boo.

The whole day event on April 25 costs just $75 (which isn't bad when you consider a Friday night down your local Odeon can set you back about a tenner these days) and kicks off at 1.30pm.

If you're interested, it's sure to be a long day – so be sure to stock up on snacks.

Avengers: Infinity War will be released worldwide on April 27, 2018.
