The British sitcom The Inbetweeners, which first aired on E4 in 2008 and led to two spin-off films due to its immense popularity, is now gaining traction in the US.

The show follows four teenage boys navigating a variety of typical teenage issues while trying to impress girls. Although the full series isn't available on any American network, TikTok users in the US have been sharing some of the programme's funniest moments.

Despite an American adaptation of The Inbetweeners being launched in 2012, it was cancelled by MTV after just one season of 12 episodes. However, Andy Padilla, an American TikTok user, has dedicated his account to the original British comedy.

One of his recent clips from the show has garnered over a million views. The clip showcases a memorable scene from the first film where the boys attempt to impress girls at a nearly empty club. "I only stumbled onto it accidentally. It's absolutely comedic gold," Andy confessed in the comments section of the video.

He further revealed: "I've only found it last week, I'm in Texas. I don't know many people who have heard of it."

Numerous Brits responded with delight as they watched Americans discover the iconic show for the first time. "Us Brits love watching Americans seeing it for the first time! " commented one TikTok user.

One individual concurred: "Seeing someone experience this for the first time is class." Another added: "Americans watching Inbetweeners will always make me laugh."

A fourth follower pleaded: "More Inbetweeners reactions please, I find this hilarious." Meanwhile, other American fans discovering the show also shared their new found appreciation. "Never seen this before but it's seems so friggen hilarious! " a fan exclaimed.

Another said: "I've watched this clip 10 times. I'm laughing harder each time,".

British viewers proceeded to recommend Misfits, Friday Night Dinner and Bottom to these American comedy enthusiasts.
