Amir says I'm a Celeb is for "has beens" in old tweet

New I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! contestant Amir Khan may be regretting a past tweet that has resurfaced as he entered the jungle yesterday (November 19).

The boxer is one of the first to face the Bushtucker Trial on the ITV show, though it seems that's not the only uncomfortable thing he's facing at the moment.

A tweet from back in 2012 has emerged in which he called people who go on I'm a Celeb "has beens", after replying to a question as to whether he would ever go on the show.

Oh dear. It seems a lot can change in five years.

Although the tweet appears to have been deleted, many people on Twitter – including former Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison – screenshotted it.
