The brave Trainwreck star recalled the experience in an interview with America’s Marie Claire magazine and said she had put the memory to the back of her mind until she found the journal she kept when she was 17 years old.

She said: “My first sexual experience was not a good one. I didn’t think about it until I started reading my journal again. When it happened, I wrote about it almost like a throwaway. It was like, And then I looked down and realized he was inside me. He was saying, ‘I’m so sorry’ and 'I can’t believe I did this.

Amy has decided not to take the issue any further or reveal the man and added “this was 17 years ago, there are just so many factors.”

It happened again to the actress with a boyfriend who “completely ignored” her when they were in bed together and she told him she didn’t want to have sex.

She said: “I had another time with a boyfriend where I was saying, ‘No, stop,’ and it was just completely ignored.”

Though she has dated other guys, the 35-year-old actress is happy and feels secure with her current partner Ben Hanisch, who she says is the first man who has acted like a boyfriend should, explaining: “I feel like Ben is the first guy who’s really been my boyfriend. There are guys who, if they heard me say that, would want to punch me in the face, but yeah, it’s the truth.”

But she admitted she is filled with self doubt at times and always expects her relationships to end.

Amy added: “Being in love is the scariest thing in the world. You want to f*****g cry and scream. I can’t handle it. Every time we say goodbye, I think, 'This will have been a nice last week together. Or I tell myself nothing is real and he’s going to leave me and tell me he never loved me. I feel so bad for him. How exhausting it must be dating me.”
