Andy McNicol Joins Aevitas Creative Management

Aevitas Creative Management has hired Andy McNicol as an agent.

“We are thrilled to have Andy join us, bringing her impressive and growing client list and unique expertise in author brand building to Aevitas,” ACM co-CEO David Kuhn said in a statement.

McNicol’s clients include bestselling authors and podcasters Sophia Amoruso and The Lady Gang, along with brands such as The Lakers, Flamingo Estates, La Double J and On Gossamer. Among her other clients are national bestselling authors Alejandra Campoverdi, Tina Wells, James Beard award winner Tarajia Morrell, therapist and influencer Todd Baratz, essayist Tess Sanchez, activist Tommy Dorfman, fashion personality Jenna Lyons and actress Annabella Sciorra.

“Her holistic approach to agenting is admirable.  Andy brings a valuable new toolkit to our firm,” ACM co-CEO Todd Shuster said in a statement.

After nearly two decades at WME, McNicol founded AMstudio in 2020. At WME, she was partner in the literary department and a founder of the branded lifestyle group. During her tenure, she shepherded books by Chrissy Teigen, Lin Manuel Miranda, The Selby and Cameron Diaz, among others. McNicol was included in Variety’s New York Women’s Impact Report in 2015 for her work as a partner and agent in WME’s literary department/branded lifestyle group.

McNicol said that ACM was her ideal partner as she looks to expand her footprint and 360-style of representation.

“Their creativity, ingenuity, and commitment are energizing and inspiring.  They are natural solution providers, and I love their enthusiastic let’s-do-it approach.  I am thrilled to be joining this dynamic team,” she said in a statement.
