TV host Anne Robinson has confirmed her relationship with the Queen's former husband, Andrew Parker Bowles. Rumours circulated towards the end of last year that the 79-year-old ex-Weakest Link presenter and the retired cavalry officer, aged 84, were an item.

Robinson has now verified these rumours in an interview with Saga magazine, stating: 'Yes. Full stop. Mind your own business.' The confirmation comes as Robinson is unveiled as the new agony aunt for the publication, a role she will assume from their June issue.

Discussing her return to dating in her seventies after over a decade of being single, she told Saga: "I'd been out of the game for so long. And also I don't drink. If you don't drink, you're not as reckless are you?

"I'm a great believer in surprising yourself by taking risks. Personally and professionally. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If the worst that can happen is you get some egg on your face, that's not terrible is it?"

On the topic of why dating can be simpler at an older age, she added: "You're much more selective about what you're going to get into a tizz about. Nothing matters that much. You're not going to change."

Anne was previously married to the late Charles Wilson, a former journalist and newspaper executive, until 1973 and divorced her second husband, John Penrose, in 2007. Andrew tied the knot with Camilla in 1973 and they had two children, Tom and Laura, before their divorce in 1995. He later married Rosemary Pitman, who sadly passed away from cancer in 2010.

King Charles, who divorced Diana, Princess of Wales in 1996, married Camilla in April 2005 at the Guildhall in Windsor. The Queen and Andrew have maintained their friendship, with the ex-army officer being among the select guests for the King's coronation.
