Annie Kilner 'in talks' to be on next Strictly Come Dancing amid Kyle Walker split

Annie Kilner is said to be in talks with BBC bosses about starring in the next series of  Strictly Come Dancing.

The move comes amid pregnant Kilner's highly publicised split from Manchester City footballer Kyle Walker.

According to MailOnline, the WAG has been approached by casting agents "with close links to senior BBC talent bookers from the dance series", who consider her a "dream signing".

Kilner, who is said to be very keen to compete in the dance show, which kicks off in September, is set to give birth to her and Walker's fourth baby in April.

Casting agents for ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother have reportedly also contacted Kilner, 30, since her split from her England player husband, 33, who has fathered a second child with reality star Lauryn Goodman, 32.

"Signing an active England WAG would be a major coup for Strictly, it's always been viewed as a dream signing," an insider told the publication.

"Annie would need some convincing, but Strictly has incredible pulling power. Casting agents are really pushing her to show bosses, who would be seriously keen to get her on board, especially on the back of the summer's European Championships."

The mother-of-three, who has previously appeared on ITVBe reality series The Real Housewives Of Cheshire, announced she would be taking "time out" from her 13-year relationship with Walker, who she wed two years ago, earlier this month.

Walker's fathering a second child with reality star Goodman, 32, with whom he shares three-year-old Kairo - conceived while he and Kilner were on a temporary break in 2019, is just the latest in a string of issues during their relationship.

But despite the split, Walker will reportedly be attending future scans and medical appointments to support his estranged wife.

On Sunday, the pair were seen together for the first time since Kilner announced their separation. The WAG was pictured dropping off Walker and their son Roman, 11, at a local car park in Prestbury, Cheshire.
