Families of students at Camborne Science International Academy (CSIA) came together for the school's annual Celebration of Achievement.

Celebrating pupils and parents efforts throughout the last academic year, the ceremony, held on June 20, honoured students from years seven, eight and nine.

Vice principal Mark Fenlon said: "This event is always a highlight on our calendar.

"It’s a wonderful opportunity to shine a spotlight on our students right alongside their friends and family, as we celebrate exceptional performances from those enjoying their first year at CSIA, right up to those about to begin their GCSE’s with us."

The student's academic, sporting and personal achievements were celebrated during the two-hour event.

They were awarded with certificates and shields in recognition of their efforts.

The academy presented distinctive awards that reflect the school's culture and history, such as the Stuart Soloman Award for considerable commitment to school life, awarded to Oashia Mankee.

Another standout award was the Moffat Music Cup for outstanding creative dedication, which went to Ethan Sewell.

The Godrevy Plate for effecting substantial change within the school community was proudly handed to Rosie Bishop.

Principal Emma Haase also took the opportunity to commend the entire student body and staff.

She said: "CSIA students continue to excel and move from strength to strength year after year, so events like our annual Celebration of Achievement only become more important to recognise the many achievements of our student body.

"A special mention goes to our amazing staff for their continued exemplary support and guidance."
