Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Program scheduled April 4

Mar. 30—VALDOSTA — The Valdosta-Lowndes County Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Committee will host its Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Program at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 4. The event will be held at the King Memorial Site, 201 E. M.L.K. Drive, Valdosta. Theme: "They killed the dreamer, not the dream."

This year's program will include a dramatic presentation by Walter Lewis Jones, music by Valdosta Early College Academy, and song and dance by local youth.

The program is free and open to the public. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at St. Paul AME Church, 419 S. Ashley St., Valdosta, Ga.
