The on-again-off-again mystery that is the Spice Girls reunion suffered yet another setback last week, after it emerged that Geri Horner had pulled out to concentrate on her pregnancy.

However, there may be another reason for Geri's apparent decision to step away from reuniting with the other two girls up for getting back together, Emma Bunton and Mel B.

According to The Sun, we'll actually be seeing even more of Geri - as she's presenting a pop culture documentary on the BBC later this year.

Geri has already filmed the one-off show centred around the '90s, but the tabloid claims that the soon-to-be mother-of-two wants this to lead to more presenting opportunities once she's had her second child.

Of course, one telly gig she has been linked to is Channel 4's Great British Bake Off when the show first airs on its new home in 2018, which would definitely soften the blow of Mel & Sue's absence.

However, it seems Geri isn't totally giving up her Ginger Spice roots.

On Sunday, the singer posted a picture on Instagram of herself in the studio along with the hashtag "#workingmums".

So, does this mean we're expecting new music from Geri on top of her new telly work? Either way, it sadly doesn't look like it'll have her fellow Spice Girls attached.
