Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway returns this weekend along with their classic guest announcers – however, the guys revealed they don't always like the people who want to do it.

Speaking to This Morning's Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, the cheeky Geordies explained their plans for the new series, including this weekend's guest announcer, Olly Murs.

Eamonn and Ruth were annoyed they haven't been asked to become guest announcers yet, despite being huge fans of the show.

Ant & Dec then explained that it's become such a coveted spot that celebrities are coming to them asking to do it.

However, despite being lovely guys with near-permanent grins fixed on their faces, Ant divulged that they don't always want the people begging to become guest announcers.

Ruth said: "I bet people are queuing up to be guest announcer now. I bet you don't even have to go looking, do you? There's a waiting list, I bet."

He said: "Erm, people want to do it, yeah. You don't... always want the people that put themselves forward." The group then burst out laughing.

The show has also released a preview clip teasing its undercover prank on Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, which will be the only one of the series.

During the clip, Amanda becomes increasingly frosty with her assistant as she tries to dub her 'Mandy' or 'Mandy Pandy'. She even delivers an infamous "Do you know who I am?" line, which Ant & Dec were delighted about.

This Morning continues weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.

Saturday Night Takeaway begins tomorrow (February 24) at 7pm on ITV.
