Ant and Dec were targeted within seconds of the BAFTAs TV Awards starting, courtesy of hosts Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.

The star-studded evening saw celebrities gather at London's Royal Festival Hall on Sunday, with comedians Rob and Romesh taking up the mantle to host the prestigious event for the second consecutive year. In keeping with tradition, the ceremony was broadcast 'as live' on BBC One, although some winners had already appeared online prior to their televised reveal.

Kicking off the show, Rob and Romesh engaged in a sketch that involved them arranging the seating plan for the BAFTA TV awards. After relegating Stephen Merchant to the back due to his towering stature, they turned their attention to Ant and Dec's placards, placing them a few rows in.

During the sketch, as the camera showed Dec seated to the right of Ant, Romesh pointed out: "Rob, that's Dec and Ant," leading Rob to question, "Does it matter? " To which Romesh delivered the punchline: "Na, no one knows which one's which anyway, do they?"

Once again at the annual event, Ant and Dec were nominated for the Entertainment Performance award, going head-to-head with contenders such as Hannah Waddingham for the Eurovision Song Contest, Joe Lycett for Late Night Lycett, and Rob and Romesh who were shortlisted due to their Sky series Rob and Romesh Vs.
