Ant and Dec had fans in hysterics by releasing a tongue in cheek video to their PJ & Duncan track Eternal Love.

The TV stars first unveiled the romantic song in 2001 and have shot a hilarious video that shows them now, blowing kisses, snuggling up in a hammock and making hearts with their hands. Sharing the clip on their social media, the duo quipped: “It’s finally here. The video you’ve not been waiting for…”

It showed Ant and Dec poking fun at themselves and playing up their famous bromance as they walking along a beach and played bat and ball, while singing: “Back in the days when we first met, those time we had I'm never gonna forget, long summer nights and lazy days, we knew our love was not a passing phase.”

Clad in Hawaiian shirts, the pair had fans laughing as they spoofed the song with long looks and funny expressions. At one point, Ant squirted on some sunblock as he sang about suntan lotion, before Dec placed a shell necklace over his buddy’s head with a loving expression on his face.

They were then seen swaying in a hammock under the palm trees, with Dec laying back on top of best friend Ant as they sang about “the kind of romance that's hard to believe”.

Fans could not get enough of it, with one posting on Instagram;: “And this is why the nation loves Ant & Dec. This is a masterpiece.” One said it was “epic” as another fan confessed: “I am not embarrassed to say I have watched this more than once.”

Someone else said the clip made their day, and another remarked: “This has truly made my life.” “This is amazing, proper made me smile,” said one appreciative fan.

Fellow TV star Holly Willoughby was among those to chime in. Posting crying with laughter and heart emojis on Instagram, she wrote: “I can’t stop watching this…”
