Ant McPartlin is living the high life, splashing out on a swanky £200k Aston Martin while preparing to welcome his first child with wife Anne-Marie.

The ITV presenter and Britain's Got Talent Judge, known for hosting the widely-loved show alongside Declan Donnelly, was seen leaving the sleek, James Bond-style motor near his London residence, in pictures obtained by the Mirror.

The five-door DBX 707 SUV, retailing at a whopping £198,000, offers plenty of room for Ant's expanding family.

The presenter's first child with his second wife Anne-Marie is due in June with the Geordie host already being a step-father to her two daughters.

Both are excitedly gearing up for their newest family member, having originally kept the pregnancy news under wraps.

A source opened up to The Sun about the couple's joyous news as they said: "This is the news everyone wanted. Ant and Anne-Marie are beyond delighted.

"It's no secret that Ant has always wanted children, but that it may never happen for him was something he had, sadly, come to terms with."

The source further added: "When they found out last year, they were absolutely delighted, but obviously kept the news quiet for as long as possible.

"To be having a child two years short of his 50th birthday, with the love of his life, is the stuff of dreams for Ant.

"He's already a wonderful, doting father to Anne-Marie's kids, and together they're going to be brilliant parents to this latest addition to the family."

Ant first crossed paths with Anne-Marie when she was employed as a personal assistant to him and his then-wife Lisa Armstrong.

The couple parted ways after 23 years, and just a few months later in March 2018, Ant was spotted with his future second wife for the first time as a pair.

The popular Geordie TV host had previously expressed his aspirations of becoming a father and admitted that he had considered the possibility that parenthood might not be in his cards.

A source revealed to The Sun that Ant's acceptance of potentially never having children was "something he had, sadly, come to terms with".

In a 2013 interview with Radio Times, Ant candidly discussed his and Lisa's struggle with fertility, stating: "There's a rumour that we do everything together and I'm holding off having kids till Dec finds himself Mrs Right.

"I love that idea, but I'm afraid it's not true. Lisa and I would love to have kids. We're trying. It's tougher than you think."

In a recent chat with the Mirror, Simon Cowell, Ant's colleague from Britain's Got Talent, shared some pearls of wisdom on fatherhood.

Simon disclosed: "When I heard Ant was going to become a dad, I told him it would be the best thing that ever happened to him. I basically said the first nine months are a bit strange because they can't talk to you."

"I remember saying to Lauren about Eric at one point: 'I don't think he likes me.'

"But then after a year everything changes and it's hilarious, it's great fun, and you'll really really enjoy it.

"And it will be life-changing for him. I'm really happy for both of them. What will happen if the baby arrives during the live shows? I'll probably have to host with Dec. Why not?"
