Ant McPartlin welcomes baby son with wife Anne-Marie as child's name revealed
Ant McPartlin has become a dad for the first time, with the TV presenter admitting he was 'a mess' after the birth of his son on Tuesday, as well as revealing the little one's name.
While never actually confirming they were expecting a baby, photos of wife Anne-Marie with a bump gave the game away, most recently as the couple headed out for a meal with ex footballer Jamie Redknapp and his other half.
It was Ant who broke the news of his new arrival to the world, posting a black and white photo of him cradling the baby on his and best mate Dec's Instagram account, just a few hours after the birth. The candid shot saw Ant cuddling his first born, with the caption reading: "Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin.. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess!"

Ant's last public appearance before Wilder's birth came at Sunday night's BAFTA TV Awards, with him and Dec all smiles as they walked the red carpet at London's Royal Festival Hall, before being beaten to the Entertainment Performance prize by Channel 4's Joe Lycett.
After Saturday Night Takeaway wrapped up in April, Ant and Dec are currently on screen in the new series of Britain's Got Talent, as the pre-recorded auditions air; with the Geordie duo set to host the live semi finals in just a few weeks time.
