Ant McPartlin has been honoured by his best friend and presenting partner Declan Donnelly in a touching baby name tribute. Dec, who welcomed his second child with wife Ali Astall last year, chose to name their son Jack Anthony Alphonsus, giving a nod to Ant with the middle name while also commemorating Dec's late father with the name Alphonsus.

The couple described their newborn as "a very welcome ray of light". The choice of middle name Anthony is a direct tribute to Ant, and the name Alphonsus honours Dec's father.

Meanwhile, Ant is eagerly anticipating the birth of his first child with his wife Anne-Marie Corbett. A body language expert has observed that Ant appears "protective" when seen out with Anne-Marie.

The pair were recently spotted on a double date with Jamie Redknapp and his wife Frida Andersson, according to OK! magazine, reports Wales Online.

Commenting on the couple's recent outing, Judi James, a body language expert, told the Mirror: "Anne-Marie looks so relaxed and happy in these poses, smiling broadly as she cradles her bump with one hand, suggesting high levels of delight at her pregnancy but also the levels of calm you might expect from someone who has given birth twice before."

A recent photograph captured a sweet moment between Ant and Anne-Marie, where Ant's facial expression showed a mix of anxiety and joy. However, his broad smile when gazing at Anne-Marie's baby bump revealed not only pride and excitement but also a sense of early bonding with his yet-to-be-born child.

In light of his news of becoming a father, Ant confirmed that Saturday Night Takeaway will be put on pause. He shared reasons for the decision with Fault magazine earlier in February: "On a more personal level, part of the reason we're pausing Takeaway is we need a break ourselves, and we need to spend some time with our family."

"We've both got children that we need to spend time with for a little bit. We need time to think and, and time to step back and look at the bigger picture and just see where we are now."

Currently, Ant embraces the role of stepfather to his wife Anne-Marie's two children from her first marriage.
