Ant McPartlin's ex Lisa uploads cryptic post as beaming TV star prepares to welcome first child

While Ant McPartlin has been pictured beaming as he prepares to become a dad for the first time, his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has uploaded a cryptic social media post about running out of patience.

The Saturday Night Takeaway host, 48, is currently expecting his first child with his second wife Anne-Marie Corbett, his former PA who he tied the knot with in 2021.

The Geordie presenter was seen smiling at her bump this week as they wait out the final days before their little one arrives.

Make-up artist Lisa, 47 was married to Ant from 2006 to 2018 and has shared several cryptic social media posts since their marriage came to an end, OK! reports.

She has now posted a throwback snap to social media along with two quotes that imply she is running out of patience, although she did not elaborate on what is causing her frustration.

Lisa, who is in charge of makeup for Strictly Come Dancing, shared an Instagram story of a snap of her now peeling back into a black and white throwback image with a series of laughing emojis.

However, her next two posts on her story were shared quotes that suggest she is angry about something as one of them read: "'Where was the last place you flew?' Right off the fking handle mate & there's another potential flight on its way."

The next quote read: "My patience is basically like a gift card. Not sure how much is left on it but we can give it a try."

Ant and Anne-Marie, who has two kids from her previous marriage, were seen heading out for lunch with Jamie Redknapp and his wife Frida Andersson earlier this week looking ready for their new arrival.

Anne-Marie appeared happy and relaxed as they walked down the street while Ant smiled protectively at her bump with a body language expert claiming that the I'm a Celeb host looked like an anxious dad-to-be.

Lisa and Ant were married for 11 years and were together for over two decades before their messy divorce which came shortly after she stood by the TV during a drink-driving scandal that came with a hefty fine.

The former couple still share custody of their dog Hurley and when Ant and his co-star Declan Donnelly recent quit Saturday Night Takeaway to spend more time with their families, Lisa seemed to extend an olive branch to her ex.

In a rare glimpse of public support for her former partner, she liked a post that hailed Ant and Dec as 'simply the best' during the show's final episode in celebration of their outstanding TV career.
