A pastor’s photo capturing an elderly man spoon feeding his wife ice cream on a scorching day has melted hearts.
Pastor Brent Kelley brought his kids to a Sonic fast food drive-thru in Nashville, Tennessee, when he spotted the heart-warming moment.
“It was a beautiful display of love,” he said.
In a Facebook post he wrote: “So today, I took the kids to the pool and we stopped for ice cream on the way home.
“When I got my ice cream and pulled out, I realised that this elderly man beside me was sitting outside his car door, spoon feeding his wife ice cream who also looked in her late eighties.
“He draped a towel over her and slowly fed his bride in the 98 degree temperature.”
It was later shared on the Love What Matters Facebook page, where it has racked up over 100,000 reactions and shares.
