'Computer says no!': Ryanair can't resist dig at British Airways as upmarket rival's service goes into meltdown
Budget airline Ryanair couldn't resist the opportunity to make a cheeky dig at its more upmarket rival British Airways today as a major IT crash cause disruption to thousands of BA customers.
As BA struggled to cope with the chaos unleashed by the meltdown, the Irish airline tweeted:
Breaking news: BA appoints new head of IT.... #ShouldHaveFlownRyanairpic.twitter.com/pR5lwJmr95

The responses were rather mixed though.
One poster said: "A bit rich coming from a company with the worst customer service!"
Another said: "Isn't this a bit like a run down corner shop poking fun at Sainsbury's?"
And another simply said: "Grow up."
Thousands of holidaymakers were stranded after BA flights from Heathrow and Gatwick were grounded on Saturday and problems continued on Sunday.
