  • HBO has released the first full-length trailer for the upcoming film, "Paterno."

  • The film stars Al Pacino as the longtime head coach of Penn State football during the fallout of the child sexual abuse scandal and assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.

  • The trailer shows Pacino as Paterno refusing to resign and daring the University to fire him.

  • It also depicts the outrage Paterno's dismissal caused across the University, with students and fans rioting in defense of their longtime coach.

  • The film will debut on April 7.
