I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!'s Jennie McAlpine broke down in tears as she shared memories of her late father.
Last night's (November 22) episode saw the Coronation Street star talk to her campmates about her father, who passed away earlier this year and had encouraged her to do the show.
"I lost my dad earlier this year so… We were like bestest, bestest friends," she said as she fought back tears, with Jamie Lomas and her fellow campmates quick to comfort her.
"I said before I came in, he told me to do things that I'm not brave enough to do. He'd always push me to do things."
It's been an emotional time in the jungle for Jennie so far as she has already struggled with missing home and being separated from her 3-year-old son Albert.
"I got a bit teary in the loo, I was just thinking about missing home and my little boy," she admitted later in the Bush Telegraph. "It's hard to know what to talk about because if you talk about it, like now..."
Jennie added: "I absolutely know Daddy and Albert will be having the best time together and they'll be having loads of fun. So yeah, I have to brave for them."
