I'm a Celeb crowns Noel Edmonds emperor in shock twist

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! announced the first massive twist of the series to coincide with the arrival of TV legend Noel Edmonds. And it's a game-changer!

It was finally confirmed earlier in the day that Noel was heading into the jungle as the 11th and final member of this year's cast, following endless speculation over the last several days.

The campmates were none the wiser about the hype since they've been in the jungle, so they assumed they were being called together for a live Bushtucker trial at the end of Wednesday's (November 21) episode.

That wasn't actually the case! They were actually being gathered for Noel's arrival - but fans will have to wait until Thursday night's episode to actually see him set foot in camp.

What we do know is that Noel has been crowned emperor of the jungle, and the other campmates will have to compete in a series of gladiator competitions in the Jungle Coliseum for "honour and food".

Dec and Holly have promised that the fate of all of the campers is directly in Emperor Noel's hands. The twist was mind-blowing for fans - not even Rylan was prepared:

There's definitely good reason for fans to be intrigued. The former Deal or No Deal host has already made quite a surprising offer to viewers in a bid to win the jungle crown.

"I am going to win because I promise the British public if they vote for me, I will retire from television and I will never appear again," he has said. "There's a deal that I am striking with the great British public who have supported me over the years – they make me 'King of the Jungle', and I will retire and never appear again."

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here continues on Thursday (November 22) at 9pm on ITV, and is followed immediately by Extra Camp on ITV2.
