I'm a Celebrity fans weren't happy with this change

I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! tried to change things up this series to keep the show feeling fresh.

Instead of the Bushtucker Trials featuring stars, the contestants were on the hunt for a meal ticket which, as Amir Khan did, they could gift to someone else in the camp to allow them to have a meal.

Pretty simple, right? Well not all fans were happy about the change or even understood it fully.

"This meal ticket thing is confusing me? Why only 5? I miss stars. 1 star = 1 meal. Simples," one viewer wrote, with another adding: "I hope they go back to the star system soon I'm not a meal ticket fan."
