I'm a Celebrity viewers want Holly Willoughby to return next year

The thought of watching I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! without both Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly was almost an impossible one – until Holly Willoughby stepped in.

In fact, Holly has done such an excellent job of (temporarily) filling Ant's jungle boots that some viewers would actually like her to stay on, thank you very much.

Holly, who admitted it felt "weird" to be offered Ant's job while he focuses on his recovery, has always insisted that she's simply "looking after" the presenting gig.

After the huge – and record-breaking – success of this year's series, however, it seems fans would love to see Holly back next year. Along with Ant too, of course.

We're down for it. After all, it'd be like SM:TV Live all over again. (Sorry, Cat.)

One of the many reasons for Holly's I'm a Celebrity success is her relatable approach to the show's infamous Bushtucker Trials.

Not only has the This Morning regular ran away from the trial clearing just like we would, she's hidden behind Dec, tried desperately hard not to throw up during the eating trials, and even got stuck in with everyone's favourite trial, Celebrity Cyclone.

Stars, they're just like us. Kinda.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! aired on ITV. The Coming Out Show will air on Wednesday, December 12 at 9pm.
